Can't open my Gmail account

I cannot open my account, every time I get a new password it says it is wrong, I want to use my gmail address and it keeps referring to a yahoo address which I no longer use. There is no place to change your email address, so frustrated, need to open my gmail, I have had a bereavment and I need to be able to open my goolemail on my phone, help please!

Unfortunately, if, when you created the account, you have not registered a secret question which you remember, or an alternate recovery email address or phone number to which you have access to receive a reset code, you cannot prove that you are the account's legitimate owner. Hence account recovery is absolutely impossible and there is no way around it.
