Toshiba L755 black screen

When I turn on my Toshiba L755 I just get a black screen when it boots with just my arrow little icon. How from here do I do a factory reset. I have tried the F8. Doesn't help. I have tried the zero button method and didn't work. Please any suggestions would be very appreciated. Thank you Stacy

Hi Stacy,

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.
