Can't reinstall Office 2010

Can't reinstall Office 2010. Always get a notice that an error has happened and it will not install !

What are you using to reinstall Office 2010 ? Are you trying to install it on the same machine?

yes, with a disc and tried a download, neither works. Just get an error message but not why.

Is the disk an original Microsoft CD for which you have the licence serial key?

Download will never work because Microsoft no longer supports Office 2010.

Was the software completely deleted from the machine?
