Make bootable cd

Hello,
Sir, I have a poroblem to with my CD . Firstly i want to make my CD bootabel . And I also want to make our pen dirve bootable so please tell me some idea about make cd or pen drive bootable easily.
And also i have a problem with my pen drive . I bougth a pendrive last month . yet it's work properly but yestdat
it fail to work properly. It's can't open . And also when i started to use this pendrive it's started to head slowly.
So please helps me about this problem.
