Dell laptop wont get online

Hello,
I have a dell notebook w/ windows vista. suddenly IE wont get online. I cant even connect to my router. I can ping yahoo.com as well as my gateway and other pc's on my network, however IE says im not connected to the internet. I am avg anti virus that came with the pc. has anyone found a solution for this prob?

Hello if you can't connect to the router you will have to re-install some drivers

If you are using LAN cable - just re-install the LAN driver
If you are using Wireless - Re-install the wireless adapter driver
