Deleted files, now everything has a shadow

Deleted files to try speed up my computer. Now everything is slow and has a shadow. Screen has also lost color. Very faded. have tried to change resolution and color on screen. does not help. Has been suggested that I have deleted an operating system file. How can I reinstall the operating system? I have back up my whole computer to an external hard drive.

Hi

Try to restore your system back to a date before the issue occurred.

Thank You. I did do this, but it did not sort out the issue

Hi

You must then restore your computer to factory reset. All of your data will lost but you have it backed-up.

She could perhaps run SFC /scannow. That should build the index! what operating system is it?
