Trying for days to verify fb acct!

I have been trying in vain for days to log in to my fb account.
When I try to sign in I get the message to secure my account.
I click on the "get started" button, then continue on the next screen.
I am then asked to change my password, then after I choose a new password and click continue, I get a screen saying "connection lost" and "tap to retry". But when I tap the screen it just turns blue. Help please!
I have included screen shots to show what I am seeing.
I have tried several times with my mobile phone, as well as trying on 3 additional cell phones with the same maddening results.

Instead of the "connection lost" screen, I have occasionally received this error screen instead, shown in the screen shot below:

Do you normally log-in with your mobile phone or your computer?

Trying other devices was a mistake.

I only log in with my phone.
I still can't log in though....
Why was my post marked as "solved" when it isn't?
I still need help please

You are mistaken, your post was never marked as solved.

Normally the advice is to delete temporary files and cookies, but if you are using your mobile, I do not know what solution to suggest
