Once you have changed your date of birth, no doubt that Facebook will ask you for proof, your dob must be correct otherwise your account may get disabled.

It is not at all a big issue to change your date of birth in your Facebook account. you can easily change it by going into the About option which provides the personal details of the account holder. There you will get the birthday option which will have the edit option just on the right side of it. If you are still facing an issue changing it you may go throughXXXXX who may guide you in doing that.
