I am sitting with a Satellite C850 ( Toshiba ) and I did a full format of the hard drive, all partitions were removed so all the recovery data is lost. I have been looking for a way to install a different OS, as it came with Windows 8 and I want Windows 7 preferably. I do not want to buy the recovery discs from Toshiba as I have all the necessary OS discs for the reinstall, but it crashes/freezes every time i try running the install.

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!

Well here are the ISO form microsfot. Good luck licensing:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7

Here is the USB tool to make the ISO into a bootable disk:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/windows-usb-dvd-download-tool

Get into bios and change boot order. Place your usb into PC and boot.

if you missing dll files in window 7 then connect to the internet, as Windows 7 will find its own library!
