I have the same issue before but what i did is factory reset my unit and it works, this time, i forgot to back up image my unit and i cant do the same so ive decided to reformat it using windows 7 professional.
Im thinking if my wifi card got burned out or something.but ive observe to that my wifi enable to 1 second or more before it totally disable. I manage to even download google chrome on it

I was planning to buy a wifi dongle but if theres a way i can recover my wifi connection, i will not buy :)

Have you checked if the wifi drivers are properly installed?
