I have a Dell Inspiron 7500 laptop for about a year and 4 months now, It never really gave me an issue but now suddenly it has started exhibiting an issue.
The screen turns to dark bluish(Not black but almost near to that shade) suddenly and then remains there, It doesn't shut off even on closing the lid, the only retort is to shut down and start over again.
I thought there could be a virus, So I reset the Laptop still the problem persists.
I am not sure about overheating issue, But it may exist,as I do observe laptop heating up at times.
Note: My laptop battery is in poor condition so it's always on AC supply, Something interesting to observe is that, Every time this issue has been caused, I was on youtube , watching a video full screen, I cannot say this only occurs on youtube but that's my observation.

Hi

You have an issue with the back lights or the inverter. I suggest you consult a technician.

I really appreciate your help, But the screen doesn't seem to go dim, Isn't that the issue when dealing with an back light or inverter issue, I am using the pc for 10th straight hour right now without any issue! But I have only faced it when watching a full screen video(only on youtube till now)

So, it is or it isn't...if it happens on full screen, don't do that.

Have you checked your brightness?

Perhaps it only happens when on battery power, and the settings on battery say to decrease brightness in an attempt to conserve the battery!

Have FUN!

I still ain't able to realize the issue, I am not sure if the drivers are incorrectly updated, Any idea if that can be the issue.

What OS is it? If it is 7 or better, delete the driver and reboot it. From 7 on, windows will find the correct one in the catalog and apply it!

Hey buddy , Some local repair show did it, They said the graphic card required reballing.

Reballing? I am not familiar with that technical term.
