Hi,

It is possible to download your emails to an email app using IMAP protocol. The instructions are explained on this page.

Thanks for the reply! I checked out the link you gave, and I see that they mention using a third-party for downloading. I was hoping that it would be possible to use a web browser (preferably Firefox), so that I wouldn't have to learn a new app (I have a (self-diagnosed) learning disability). Still, the link you gave is very helpful, since even using the help center is always quite a chore due to the large amount of information that I have to sift through. Now I'll have a permanent record which links directly to the solution.
