Problem connecting to the server

Since I installed Snapchat app have been trying to open it but to no avail
I have signed up and it proceeds
But it has a limit"wen ever am asked to put my password
I tried putting it but it keeps saying "there was a problem connecting to d server plz try again "
So my question here is
Why is it not working?

Uninstall it, and install it again.
