Opening message/music

Hello,
I received a purchased/downloaded song via email. When I try to open the attachment/song I cannot do so.
The message I receive indicates that there is an extension file that is not recognized by my Media Player. Any suggestions as to how to open or what i might do?

Hye,

You will have to open it using Winamp player or VLC player!
