Download msg with large jpgs attached

Hello,

Running Outlook 2007, previously used Eudora as a mail client.
I have messages with large photos attached that will not download into Oulook. No problem with those files in Eudora or Gmail.

Is there a setting somewhere that restricts the download of emails with large attachments? Also, have had problems sending files with largish pdfs attached.
