Inactive Skype deletion Closed

Question

Hello, 

I sign in to my Skype account with a Yahoo email. I know that Microsoft accounts are deleted after 2 years of inactivity (and Skype is gone with them). I read that Skype will not be deleted due to inactivity on it's own, because it is merged with the Microsoft account, but what happens if I use Yahoo to login? Will my Skype be deleted after 2 years?

P.s- I need my Skype to be deleted, I cannot access it, nor my Yahoo, so I count on inactivity to delete it.

Hello, even if you are using a Yahoo account it should be deleted.

To add some further clarity to how long your account has to be inactive before being deleted, I found this info:

If the last time you signed in was:

Before June 2014, it will be removed after 1 year of inactivity
Between June 2014 - August 2015 
After August 2015, it will be deleted after 5 years of inactivity!

Hi,

Even if you've created your Skype account with a Yahoo Mail account, the account will be deleted after 2 years of inactivity.

According to Skype Terms, it says:

 11.3 Skype shall effect such termination by preventing your access to your User Account, the Software, Products and/or Skype Websites (as applicable). We reserve the right to cancel User Accounts that have been inactive for more than one (1) year.
