I urgently need to view the transcript of a municipal council meeting held yesterday but there is no transcript option. Two weeks ago, all was fine. The only option showing for yesterday's meeting is 'Report'. What is the reason and is there a way around this? Thanks!

Hello, have a look at this article on how to get the transcript of a youtube video.

Note: Transcripts are only available for videos that have closed captioning.

It may be that the video you are looking for a transcript for doesn't have closed captioning enabled.

Thanks for this David. Our municipality is the host of the Zoom meetings so we will ask them to enable YouTube's closed captioning feature.

Do you know if it can be enabled after the fact or only before the video is uploaded?
