Hp color laserjet 2605 the magenta

Hello,
i have hp color laserjet 2605, whent i print the magenta will print yellow who can help me for dis problem

hi there,

please check the ink level

this problem occurs when ink level is low

you will therefore need to order new cartridge for your printer

I am having the same problem. Ink levels are fine. The test pages come out printing just fine. However, when I go to print a color page in Word and other programs, the color comes out magenta.

Also, I cannot seem to setup specific print combinations (color, 2 sided; black and white, 2 sided; etc). I had it setup on my old computer (running Windows 2003), but now that I have a new computer (with Windows 7), it doesn't seem possible. Any ideas?

Most likely the mirrors are dusty. Magenta is the first color to have problems. Here is a link to a pdf I used to fix mine. This worked well for me, but this isn't for the electronic faint of heart.
