Unable to undo changes in Xodo PDF Reader

I want to undo certain changes I have unknowingly saved in Xodo PDF reader.

I had highlighted a word in a PDF document that I was reading through Xodo.

Absent-mindedly, I had clicked on annotate and I found that two lines, one red and one black were drawn across that word. 

 I should have clicked on the curved arrow above for undo. I did not and it got saved.

Now, try as much as I want, I am unable to remove those two lines from that text.

How should I unsave this when it is already saved? 

Could anyone help?

Hi,

To remove annotations in Xodo PDF, go to Annotations and select Clear. In case this doesn't work, it is possible to restore your PDF prior to the changes, if:

  • You've a copy or a backup of the PDF.
  • There's an old version of your file saved by File History (Windows).

Alternatively, I suggest that you try opening your document using another PDF reader to see if you can remove the annotations.

  1. Choose Undo from the Edit menu or type CTRL +Z. You cannot select Undo if you have not performed any actions that modified the current document.
  2. To continue undoing changes, choose Edit > Undo or type CTRL +Z repeatedly.
