Help?? Looking to buy new printer/scanner/copier/fax

Hello,

Looking for a recommendation for a new all in one for home use.  Whould like one that will print b/w if on color cartridge is empty,be able to hook the unit to a desktop hard wired(usb), affordable ink and have the unit use ink economically if poss.  

Is there such an all in one being made today?
