Mic doesnt work when running whatsapp and screen recorder

Hello,

My phone model number is Samsung S20 FE 5G (Model number SM-G781B/DS

When I am on a video call on Whatsapp and turn on l screen recorder at the same time, my mic on whatsapp runs ok but the mic becomes disabled on the screen recorder program. 

This only happens when using Whatsapp. When I do the same on Google Meet, the mic runs on both Google Meet and the screen recording program and is ok

How can I fix this on Whatsapp?

Hi,

Does the same thing happen if you start recording your screen with your microphone before you make the video call? If the answer is yes, try using a different screen recorder app - some people are reporting the same problem with WhatsApp when they use the Samsung built-in screen recorder.

If the microphone checks out, then you have a functional microphone. If the microphone isn't working in one programme but does in another, the problem is likely with the latter's preferences.
