Hello,
I have Vista on my Toshiba A215-S4697 and I followed this instructional video on youtube to make it run faster: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PovStPMr Ever since I did this my computer sometimes will not go past the Black Toshiba Welcome Screen. I have to press the power button to turn off and then turn on the laptop. After about 5-10 times of doing this it boots and I'm in. Is there something I can do to fix this problem? I would love for my laptop to boot up right away when I turn it on.

hi,
you should try to boot in safe mode and do a system restore.
this will restore your computer to an earlier setting.
>start
>all programs
>accessories
>system tools
>system restore
