Hi all. I am trying to find a way to limit the number of messages someone can send me at once on messenger. Basically, stop them from spamming me without outright blocking them.

Hi,
You can't restrict someone from sending you messages, but it is possible to ignore their messages without blocking your contact.
To do so, go to the chat window and select the i icon, then choose Ignore Messages. On Desktop, go to Privacy & Support > Ignore Messages.
