I am a microbiologist and would like to take timelaps snapshots of agar plates with bacterial colonies. I so far used an slr nikon D3300 (6016 × 4000 pixels (24.2 megapixels)) I woul like to achieve a similar resolution with a webcam but i am not sure if possible. A lightring to image in low light settings would be good. In addition i would like to be able to zoom manually. I would be grateful for suggestions in regards to models.
