Hello,
Com'on everyone...have a heart and answer me :-(
My p'uter is a Gateway with an AMD Athlon 2.0 GHZ 64 X 2 3800+ with 2.0 GHZ of RAM. I using a nifty graphics card (ATI Radeon Visontek 1300/1550 W/ 512 Mb).... and I have performance problems when running allot of HQ quality gaming stuff. Was thinking of upping the RAM to 4.0 GHz. Too much, not enough, just right or what do ya'll Think? Give me your input on this.... PLEAZE!

Using Windows XP (32 bit) limits you to 4 GB total memory SPACE. If you upgrade to 4 GBs of RAM Windows XP will only be able to use about 3.25 GB of the RAM. The rest of the RAM will be unusable because XP needs the Address Space for your video card and OS support. You might save money by upgrading to 3 GB RAM.
Good Luck
