Hello,
It is very simple to format a laptop , but before formatting make sure that you have all your drivers and already back up all important information on an external disk because once you format you will get a fresh copy of windows and all documents will be erased.
All what you need to have is an installation cd of windows.
And configure your booting squence on CD First.
all just follow the steps:)
