Hi,
To set a custom ringtone on your Samsung phone, go to Settings > Sounds and vibration > Ringtone. Next, select the SIM card on which you want the custom ringtone to play when you receive a call.
In "Ringtone" select + and select your ringtone, then tap Done. Repeat the steps with your other SIM if you want to play the ringtone with both of your SIM cards.
You can also assign a custom ringtone for a contact. Go to Phone, select your contact, tap the Info icon > Edit > Ringtone. You can check this option as well if one or more of your contacts don't play the ringtone set in your phone's settings.
Also, make sure your ringtone uses the following format: MP3 / WMA / AAC / FLAC. If your ringtone file uses a different format, please convert it to one of the mentioned format so that it can work with your phone without any issue.
You should hear your ringtone now.
Good luck
