Do computer and mobiles hardware require RoHS Certification?

Hi,

RoHS compliance is mandatory for all countries located in the European Union. For other countries outside the EU, RoHS certification may not be mandatory.

However, other countries may have similar regulations, thus compliance to their own regulations is mandatory, even if RoHS doesn't apply.

For example, if a manufacturer targets the EU, US and Asia market, it must comply with RoHS and any other applicable regulations.
