Install I8 now I can't get on the internet

Hello,
I installed I8 onto my laptop, and now I can't connect to the internet at all, when I try to connect and error pops up so fast that you can't even read it. I have an AT&T wireless card, but it was working OK before I updated to I8. HELP - anybody know why this is happening.???? HELP HELP HELP

Hello Sir,

To solve this problem,

Click on Tools, Internet Options, Connection tab,

Click on LAN Settings, then tick Automatically detect proxy settings
