Why wont my computer install vista

Hello, my computer is vista compatible and won't install it it loads but when i get an option to choose what driver its booting from it won't work it reads the disk because i can see the name of the diskon the screan but it says it carn't find drivers or something.
someone please help

Hello,

If you were using XP and upgrading to Vista,

You will have to change the SATA Mode on your bios!

You will have this option on the bios just change to from IDE to SATA
