CAN'T OPEN MY LG FINGERPRINT USB DRIVE UBHP4G

Hello,
I bought an LG fingerprint USB drive in december 2008 and so far it has worked very well. However, I can not access it now. I had earlier protected it with a password and finger print. But the problem now is the window for me to enter my password no longer pops us any more.
I have tried to access it using the programme files provided or tried using the recovery disk that comes with the drive but none seems to work, the programmes do not respond.
