Problem conecting wifi router with adsl modem
Solved/Closed
Hello,
i am using a PROLINK Hurricane 5200 ADSL2+ Ethernet Modem Router. DHCP is enabled.
Now I want to use a TP-LINK TL-WR941N wifi router.
for this I connected the ethernet cable that was connecting my modem and pc; to connect modem and the wifi router.
then I connected the wifi router with my pc using ethernet cable(RJ-45) but there is no internet connection in my computer-still.
and the wifi signal transmitted by the router cannot be used as it says -"no internet connection".
please help.
the modem seems that its already dialed but still this problem occurs thpugh i've applied proper wifi router setting.its really frustating.
please do reply as soon as possible.

Think you should connect that wireless router to modem router and configure this wireless router as access point only, after that test again.

Hi,
First thing I would suggest is to try to connect another pc on your wifi transmiter.
You will be fixed whether the problem comes from your computer.
Are you able to connect on internet though cable.
also make sure that you have the correct network key.
