Computers screen black

Hello,
My computer screen is just dark black, it turn on... but instead of me holding down the power button; so that it turn Green it stays Red... My computer is full charged and its brand new as well. Can somebody tell me whats wrong with it?

hi to ya,
have you tried to start your pc througn the safe mode? it can also be due to screen resolution have you recently tried to change it?
