not functioning the desktop icon Closed

Hello,
i have installed advanced sytem care in my pc.due to crash ihave to restart it.after that  every software in desktop get erased. reinstalling them is not working.

do a system restore to a date where it all worked perfectly

follow these steps

Press Start, 

All Programs, 

Accessories, 

System Tools ----> open System Restore 

select the date press next 

Let the process  

restart your pc
