Computer broken HELP PLEASE ASAP!!!1

Hello,
My computer is a HP PAvillion a1483w with windows XP. It will turn on and show the blue HP invent screen, then it will give me the "We are sorry for the inconviniance...Safe Mode, Start Windows normally...etc" message. when i choose one (i've tried all of the choices" it just kindof restarts and does the whole thing over and over untill i turn it off. before this happened and it was working normally, it gave me a message about one of my files (i use safari and i think that was what it was about) but i can't remember what it was >:( i'm sure that would have help a bunch but i can't remember. please help as soon as possible!!! :D
