Sound driver installation

Hello,

friends i getting d problem when i was installing the sound driver i found the error message : driver installation failed: could not find the media device for the driver.

pl freind i m in big trouble after installation of windows xp original version its very hard to install windows xp again
if any one find any solution pl revert me as soon as possible.
