Skype and yahoo msn yes, msn messenger no

Hello,
i told my sis not to let her daughter use her laptop but.... oh well

Now her Vista using acer has this issue. I can connect to my wifi, and load and log into yahoo messenger and skype but msn messenger wont log in, and internet explorer doesnt go anywhere, any ideas?

Hello Sir,

Open Internet Explorer, Select Tools, Internet Options,

Connection tab, click on LAN Settings,

Tick, automatically detect proxy settings then press Ok

And please verify your Time and date if set correctly, and also the timezone

thanks for the prompt response

i thought it was proxy as well, but no, selection was as you indicated.
