Mybook External drive won't accept files

Hello,
My Mybook 1TB won't accept files transferring bigger than about 4 Gig. It says file Error (0)
It already has quite a bit of info on there but 225 Gig space left.

make a disk defrag

then try again

You need to change your hard drive file from what it is (possibly a fat32 file) to an NTFS file so that you can transfer more than 4 GB of space at a time, google it
