Save scanned photos to Pictures Closed

Question

How do I save scanned photos to Pictures.  I click on Save, but nothing happens.

Hye Sir,

These fotos are saved somewhere in your my documents, 

You should go to the folder where the photos are saved then copy them to your Pictures folder

I was able to switch photo to Pictures and rename it, but when I click on Save, nothing happens and I cannot open that file.  I get a message that the document could not be opened - colorsync utility cannot open file of this type. Can you help?
