Hello,
I have a major proble.!
I have downloaded a file on Friday evening, however it mst have had a virus with it as my laptop turned itself off and now I have an invislbe file called "Windows" in my recycle bin which I cant restore and the system 32 seems corrupted as when I log on, it keeps displaying messages such as "filex/system32 is corrupt etc, run chkdsk.
Ive ran chkdsk several times and doesnt seem to fix anything even though it picks some thigs up.
Any advice?

have you ran chkdsk from a windows CD/disc on start up?
