DVD-CD

Hello,

I not totally illiterate, but I cannot put a photo CD onto laptop. Shows up nowhere. Trying an audio now. Windows XP Home. 3 yrs. old, but when new had the same problem and had DVD-CD repaired. Wonder if this is same problem. I haven't used it much since then.
