Pls I need urgent help regarding canon lbp pr

Hello,
I have a problem with installation of Canon lbp printer 3000on xp sp3. I downloaded the latest driver for it but before finishing instalation it gives me this error : cannot recognize usb connection." I had tried everything, even i reinstalled my windows and reinstall all updates, but the same error. any suggestion?
I have contacted via email Canon but no answer.

hi there,

if you recently formatted your pc

install all drivers then you install the

service pack 3 or run update

reinstall usb port (first uninstall then restart m/c),usb port install automaticaly.
ok
