Do you have an Anti virus program installed, if so which one.?
if not, you realy need to get one and do a full scan of your system to check if there any further infections.
as for the firefox/explorer issue.
do you have access to a computer that can connect to internet.? down load the firefox install file from firefox website. the instructions on how to install will be on that website.
