Need help wit mic

Hello,

i am having a problem with my audio. i have a headphone mic and its pluged in right and it seas that it is working in recording devices menu, but when i try to use it in games it wont work. i have vista 64-bit and realtek audio. i put all the levels on high but people cant hear me. i can hear static but not my voice if you need any information pls ask. i need help, this is driving me crazy.
