MY HP COMPAQ COMPLETELY DEAD Closed

Hello,
please help me to figure out whats worng with my laptop. when turn it on, i can see the lights on and i can hear the dvd rom moving its lens, but after that nothing is happening, blacker than black screen :( ...i can't hear the fan ...
i tried the upside dwon for 30 secs and freezing for 1 hour, but it didn't work ...PLEASE HELP ME ...repair cost too much ..

I think that there must be a problem with the motherboard,

It's better to get it checked by a technician
