sounds like your computer has contracted a virus or malware.
what I would do is try and save any of your files that you want to keep and reformat the drive and do a fresh install of the operating system.
i would also get yourself a reputable internet security software. not something that is downloaded and free from the internet. I would get one of the known ones like kaspersky, mcafee or eset nod32.
i would install this on your system before even contemplating surfaing the net.
do a sweep of your system after you have installed your software.
before you connect to net, do a backup of your hard drive. a good method is with a program called ghost or Acronis. (search web for inf on these)
this will save you hours of reinstallation if the time arrises again. time to reimage a hard drive from a ghost image is anything from 20 minutes to and hour, compared to several hours the other way.
