Can't download photos from digital camera

Hello,
My son took the folder where you download your photos from a digital camera into your computer. I do not know how to find this or to set up a new one. I can plug my camera into the computer, but there is nowhere for me to go to download the photos.
Sorry if I keep repeating myself, but I know nothing about a computer.

hi there,

by default its a folder in my documents picture

open the application for transferring then

on option change the download path
