Set up problem with wireless routerClosed

Hello,

I have a Cable and Wireless router which I am having trouble connecting to the internet. My ISP does not support this router and has told me to contact C&W tech support to put some setttings into the router. I cannot seem to find a contact number for the C&W tech help desk in the UK, anyone got any ideas

Hello Sir,

To set up your router just check the manual!

You just have to use the username and password you got from your ISP and set it on your router's configuration.

Then you will be able to connect to the internet

Thanks for your reply.

If it was as simply as reading the manual or putting in a password and user Id I would of all ready done that.

Tesco does not support the router I have and therefore have said I need to add some figures etc to the "encapsulation" what ever that means I have no idea or how to do it.

Thats my problem
