hi there,
actually, we can connect two PCs using straight cable.
you can use patch panel (which works as adapter for straight to cross-over cable)
or you can use LAN card that supports auto MDIX technology
(invented by Hewlett Packard). With auto MDIX any straight cable will work just like any cross-over.
