how to upgrade to vista, step by step by adding it as a new operating system and therefore having two operating systems on my laptop. I have got the vista premium ready on my laptop but I don't knowit how to upgrade it, do I need to create a new partition in the C system and then give a file name FAT64 as the vista required 64 bits. Please do assist.Thanks.Iti

Hi,
First of all you must create a partition on your actual hardisk

and to do this you will have to re-install windows Vista .

Find a bootable Cd

and follow the instructions i will ask you for formating options and partition creation

Once you have made the partition you will be able to have two Os on your post ,

Another options is to use automatic upgrade.
